Perusall

• Your readings will be uploaded to perusall.com and the grade you receive on each reading by perusal will be averaged and used to indicate 20% of your final course grade.

Weekly Mind Maps

• You will draw a mind map or a model to summarize learning via readings and class lectures/slides every week.
• These are formative assessments and will be graded on a 10-point scale, which will be averaged and then converted to a 100-point scale to indicate 40% of your final course grade.

Midterm and Final Paper

• These papers/essays will used to assess your mastery of course content – your ability to critically evaluate and synthesize course material.
• These assessments are summative. These will be graded on a 100-point scale and indicate 40% of your final course grade.
